Richard McKenna
Richard A. McKenna (Rick) is President and co-owner of Wallwork Curry McKenna (WCM), a Boston-based marketing firm with clients in technology, medical devices, clinical healthcare, consumer products, clean-tech and financial services. The agency offers traditional TV, radio, outdoor and print advertising in addition to interactive marketing, social media, branding & design and strategic planning. Clients of note include Cisco Systems, Stryker Medical Devices, Summer Infant, United Water, Aurora Food Products, The Massachusetts Convention and Exhibition Center, American Automobile Association of Southern New England (AAASNE) and Crystal Run Health Care. Rick also held executive marketing positions with software start-up Ecora Corp, was executive vice president at advertising agency Tom Davis & Company and also worked at Raytheon Missile Systems Division.
Rick is a frequent speaker and blogger on all things marketing and recently participated in a trade mission to the UK. His firm WCM specializes in helping UK companies expand into North America.
Rick is active with many for-profit and not-for-profit organizations including serving on the board of directors of the British American Business Council of New England (BABCNE); is on the Board of Directors for environmental advocacy groups Save the Harbor/Save the Bay based in Boston and The Friends of Winter Pond based in Winchester, MA. He also serves on the boards of directors for pet products company Mollibrands, government contractor QSL LLC, and GDM Software. He is also on the business advisory group for Zoo New England.
Rick studied Classical Philosophy while at Boston College and received a Master of Science (MS) in Public & International Relations from Boston University’s College of Communications. Rick and his wife Colleen live in the Boston suburb of Winchester. They are avid boaters and spend their sparse free time in Guilford, on the Connecticut Shore.
